I am not sure exactly how it happens, but time in a hospital seems to stand still and fly all at the same time.  We were diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma  on March 31 and started treatment the following day.  We are following a course of treatment based on COG-ANBL0032.

Liam has had a ton of things thrown his way and is doing great with everything.  He really want to be home, and especially wants to play with Sully (our dog).  The first round chemo is in the books and we headed home on April 5th.

    Hi Maureen,
I am writing to let you know that lots of prayers and good thougths are being sent to you, your husband and especially Liam from me and many of your ISCU colleagues! I am hoping you have connected with my lovely friend Beth Strotman her remarkable son Luke. I believe their story will bring you some comfort, insight, hope and faith on your family’s unplanned journey.
With love and a big hug from me to you,
    Laura Hehemann
